But it's like bittersweet because this whole summer I've just been like down and that was all cool at first, you know, like laying around but now it just kind of sucks. Yeah, so I think I'm just I don't know if that I'm ready to go back to work. I think I'm just ready for routine back in my life. You know, and like a constant paycheck, right? Because with disability you have to fight tooth and nail for your next check paperwork, approvals, medical records. It's so stupid. And so I'm just ready for consistency and routine. So I guess that means getting my ass up at the ass crack of dawn every morning again. But other than that, no Life's good. Life's good. I'm glad What about you? Hannah K. 3:40 Ah, you know, so let me tell you guys a story. I don't usually have stories where we are your do so today it's what day is it Tuesday it's Tuesday. I had to get my car fixed. I've had my car for a long time but grip I will be so sad when a dies I have been like everywhere with that car like I rip the roads with that fucking car. I'll be sad when it dies. But it needed new brakes it needed new tires it needed a new inspection sticker it needed all the things we knew like it was probably needing a new battery but we didn't know how bad Sydney F. 4:20 it's like one of those things when the light comes on you're like I don't see that the Hannah K. 4:23 lighting Come on. Sydney F. 4:24 Oh then that's not good. did Hannah K. 4:26 not come on. So Sydney F. 4:27 you had no warning Hannah K. 4:28 right? We got all that fixed. And you know getting your car fixed is not cheap. No, it was like around like 550 bucks to get everything fixed a scam about honestly like I was expecting it to be more because like tires are expensive. They are I think I mean I don't think brakes are expensive but you know labor and then like the cost of them. Sydney F. 4:51 Oh, that gives you with that labor shit. Oh yeah, they're like, um, your total is actually 5000 It was 1000 for the parts and then 4000 For our three hours of work. Hannah K. 4:59 They Right, right. So it's bad. The car had been there for like a week or two because they couldn't get to it. I guess they have been like super busy, which was fine. Like, I don't fucking go anywhere. So I just drop that shit off waiting for them to be done with it. So I went to pay today and pick up the car. The motherfucker would not start it was dead dead as Sydney F. 5:23 it was dead when you picked it up at the shop was dead as fuck. Oh, like, I didn't know that's where you picked it up from like, I thought she was just out and about like when it died, but you had just picked it up from the shop. Right? Damn. Like y'all couldn't have told a bitch that my car was fucking dead. Like, Hannah K. 5:38 I even like turn the key and it didn't even like spotter. Oh yeah. fucking dead it was. So I was like, oh my god, it's dead. Like I thought my car was not like dead like needing a new battery but like done for done. Yeah, but this is where it gets crazy. So the guy jumps in and I pull out where I'm at. And there's a stop sign that goes on to like the highway and the car fucking dies right at the fucking stop sign. And I start rolling. But I was like, Oh my fucking god, I'm gonna die. But you know, my instincts kicked in. And they're like slam on the brakes, bitch. Sydney F. 6:20 You have to really put that pedal to the metal and whenever you're like needing to break like that. This is why I could never drop like a six speed or is it five speed or whatever. I couldn't do it because they drift backwards. Like when you're at a stop. I would literally panic. Hannah K. 6:34 I know how to drive a manual. I Sydney F. 6:37 know I kill them. And then the guy who owns like the auto drop they're like he was he was like right across the street still. So he came back and jumped it again died. Oh my god the second time so I just pulled in at the Dairy Queen. I was like listen, I'm gonna go by battery. I'll be back so there's my series of unfortunate events today. And so whenever I killed the motor, I was in a lot of trouble. It was like 6000 for a new motor. Hannah K. 8:48 That was probably worth more than the fucking car itself. And then I ended up with a Do you remember my fucking Ford the Ford Focus that I had just a few years ago like 20 ATS I remember that. So we buy this car. I was told that it was in good condition. And it was it was a newer car. But I think he knew that the windshield wipers were broken because I would be sitting here and the windshield wipers would just like it would be like a bright sunny day like 90 degrees outside and then all of a sudden the windshield windshield wipers would just like go on full force. They were like random they were recalled. And yes random there was like some type of fucking glitch and like the the computer system of it, and so on. And then when it would rain and I would try to cut them on, they wouldn't come on Hannah K. 9:42 like okay, well, I'm about to die, Sydney F. 9:44 right. So I just remember sobbing like one night in my car. My windshield wipers were like, or because they were going on like this dry ass window. I just remember calling my mom and be like, I can't win for losing it. This brand new fucking car, and it doesn't even fucking work and I'm fine. I remember calling the original dealer that the car came from and I was like, Was anybody gonna make me aware that like the car was recalled? Right? And they were like, oh, sorry we can't fix that. So basically I took it to trade it in for a brand new car which I have her now she's fantastic we love her she's expensive that's my only fault with it but they were like we we can give you nothing for that piece of shit focus that you brought. So I had like negative equity. It was hell, it was absolute hell and I will never own another Ford in my life.
